Jeff Ross- Transitional Pastor
Jeff has been in ministry for over 30 years as youth pastor, associate pastor, and senior pastor in churches throughout Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama. He has a heart for evangelism and leading others to know Christ. He is married to Eleatha, a local educator. They have two daughters, and three grandsons and one granddaughter.
In his time off, he enjoys playing with his grandchildren, yard work, college and professional baseball, Auburn football, NASCAR, and classic muscle cars. His favorite scripture verse is: Ephesians 1:7 “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according the riches of His grace.” His favorite song is; “I Am Redeemed” by Big Daddy Weave. His favorite book is: “In His Steps” by Charles M. Sheldon.
Donny Bright- Youth Pastor
Donny began serving as youth pastor at Heritage in March of 2014. Prior to serving as youth pastor, he served as high school guys' Life Group teacher for nine years. Donny and his wife Linda have 2 daughters. Donny strives to ensure each member of Heritage youth group graduate owning their faith, fully willing and capable of sharing the gospel. His other interests are coaching softball, golf, disc golf, and cycling.
Dawn Davis- Children's Director
Dawn has been a part of Heritage since 1980 and received Christ through the HBC Children’s ministry in the fifth grade. She began serving as Children’s Director in 1998. Dawn earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education from Troy University in Troy, Alabama. She has enjoyed sharing God’s gifts through teaching in the public school system for twenty-five years and has recently been honored to receive the 2016-2017 Alabama Elementary Teacher of the Year award. Dawn and her husband, Brian, have four sons that are active in the ministries at Heritage. She believes there is absolutely nothing greater than equipping kids to know, grow, and show God’s love! She truly has a passion for children and delights knowing she has a small part in God’s plan for each of the children at Heritage.
